Research Interests:
Cortical inhibitory interneurons play a key role in shape the responses (or lack thereof) of pyramidal cells. Using hybrid voltage optical sensors (hVOS), I am studying the influence of interneurons on cortical circuitry. More broadly, I am interested in translational mental health research and psychiatric medication, particularly in adolescent populations. I am mining data from a large social media platform to better understand perceptions, side effects, and other reactions to antidepressants.
